Leading Riojan winery Faustino has launched an
ambitious international project in conjunction with top Spanish
Michelin starred chef Eneko Atxa and his restaurant Azurmendi.

Riojan brand leader the Faustino Group has always maintained its commitment
to working with the very best and the new initiative with talented chef Eneko
Atxa, owner of acclaimed, three Michelin starred restaurant Arzurmendi, in
Vizcaya (Northern Spain), is no exception.
The new collaboration between these two Spanish innovators is testament to the
synergies between them. Food and wine matching are at the heart of this ground
breaking project.

The concept: TASTE THE WORLD by Faustino & Eneko Atxa will be launched
in Spain, China and the UK over the coming months and will bring together the
wines of Faustino with the high-end culinary creations of one of Spain’s hottest

Marrying the very best of Spanish gastronomy and the local ingredients available
in these key international markets with the creativity of Eneko Atxa and the top
wines from the Faustino portfolio, TASTE THE WORLD by Faustino & Eneko
Atxa aims to excite and inspire.

Following on from the initial launch of this collaboration the Faustino Group will
use its knowledge and expertise to develop and create a new wine which will use
the culinary know-how and creativity of Eneko Atxa. The wine, designed to shine
when matched with good food, will be released towards the end of this year.

Commenting of the launch of this exciting new initiative, Lourdes Martínez, said,
